The department has faculty engaged in a wide variety of studies from process safety and hydrocarbon processing to fundamental research in nanotechnology, life sciences and molecular simulation. The department encourages student engagement to help mold independent researchers who will continue to advance science and technology. The goal of the work is to positively impact society through discovery.
